1. Who we are
BMV Analyser ("we", "us", "our") provides a property below-market-value analysis tool. Contact: help@bmvanalyser.co.uk.
2. What data we collect
Account details (email, encrypted password), search history (postcodes/addresses you analyse), saved properties and notes you add, subscription/billing status, and payment details (processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details).
3. Why we collect it
To provide the service (run searches, save your pipeline), to manage your subscription and billing, to enforce free-plan limits, and to improve the product.
4. Legal basis
Contract (to provide the service you've signed up for) and legitimate interest (improving and securing the service).
5. How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain billing records for tax purposes.
6. Sharing your data
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app — Stripe (payments), Supabase (database hosting), and PropertyData (property market data used to power searches). We never sell your data.
7. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email help@bmvanalyser.co.uk.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required to keep you logged in and the app functioning. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
9. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
